My visit to Waukee

After a great time in Omaha I headed for Waukee to spend the weekend with Cindy and the girls.  We did a little laundry, had some great conversation, did a lot of shopping and eating out.  It is always fun to spend time with family.  The big event of the weekend was Katie's haircut.

A completed sewing project

I have been thinking about making a Market bag ever since we were at our girls crafting weekend at Glissman Lodge at Adel, Iowa.  Fran made one and I think it is so cute.  I bet every one at the farmers market and the grocery store will want one of these.

This reminds me that Fran and I were talking about the fun weekend we had and we would like to go back next year.  We are going to set a date and if anyone else would like to spend a few days hanging out together, reading, crafting, visiting, taking walks or just relaxing please let me know.  Fran and I are picking up the tab.
