After the Wedding we spent the rest of the weekend with our family and friends at Dan and D'Lynn's house. What a great time. There was food and laughing and talking and music with all who were able to attend. D'Lynn is the hostest with the mostest.
Sunday Cindy and Craig and family headed home and took Miss Anna with them. We stayed on for a couple of Sam's ballgames. They won them both and we were so happy to be there. Will and Sam both played summer league baseball and both did very well.
On Monday, we headed home via Waukee to pick up Anna after an overnight with Katie and Isabel. We had a great week and she worked hard helping Grandma and Grandpa pick up all of the sticks in the yard that had blown off because of a storm that passed through while we were gone.
Tuesday, we went to town and bought all of Anna's favorite foods so she would not go hungry. I think she did a good job of choosing. Some very snacky thing and some very healthy things. She is getting to be quite the grown up little lady.
Tuesday we took Anna to Tea Thyme at Sadies. It was so much fun and she even had a lemonade tea party. She was so sweet and loved it so much.
She enjoyed all of her lunch and a special time with Grandma and Grandpa.
We then sent Grandpa on his way because we had girl things to do. We spent the rest of the day shopping and I thoroughly enjoyed watching Annie try on at least 20 things. She was just like a little model when she came out of the dressing room. We shopped at Younkers, Claire's, Coach House, Dunham's, Hallmark and Target.
We also had movie night and went to the Dariette. Let's do this again next year Annie. Much love and bonding here.
We are enjoying the fruits of our labor after many working years. This is a daily, weekly or "whatever and whenever it happens" blog to share what we are doing, or have done, at any part time or date.

Congratulations Kevin and Hollyanne on a Beautiful Wedding
We spent last weekend in Omaha attending our godson, Kevin, and his new bride, Holleyanne's wedding. It was not only beautiful but sooooo much fun. The ceremony was very nice and as Kevin's godparents we were asked to take the gifts to the altar at the offertory time. We were so honored.
Following the wedding we went to the reception, where we ate a delicious meal, visited with old and new friends and family, and danced until I could barely move. It is a blessing to be with such great people.

I skipped the whole month of May
Never again or so I say. I will be faithful to my blog and keep it up to date. This time period has been a mess. May brought baseball games in Omaha- GO Sam and Will. We also were thrilled to be able to see Annie in her dance recital. She was beautiful.
We spent a great deal of time in Waukee helping out with whatever we could do. I had a wonderful Mother's day. Birthdays for some of the people I love so much were Fran, D'Lynn and Cindy. We had a great time celebrating.
Memorial day brought visits to our house from the Omaha Bucks, the Gladstone Cleary's and the Carlson's. We made our annual trek to all the cemeteries and this year it included a visit to my cousin, Judy, who passed away while we were in Texas. I found it to be very difficult and was happy to have a chance to say good bye. I hope she is going to be looking out for her older cousin for awhile. Missing her.

A trip to Disney world with the Carlson's
What can I say, there is no place like Disney World and even though this was our second trip I cannot tell you how much fun we had. LOVE IT!!!!!
We left on Thursday and returned to our home the next Wednesday. We saw as much as we possible could in the amount of time we were there. Katie and Izzie participated in The Lion King musical. We went to Downtown Disney for the first time. Soarin was once again our favorite ride and Katie was crazy for it and Iz was too short. I bet my nephew, Kevin, can relate to that one. Here are a few pictures to show you how much fun we squeezed in.

Oops I skipped some birthday parties.
We got back from Texas just in time to go to Katie's birthday party. We were able to wish Happy Birthday to Anna and Joe at the same time. Here are a couple of shots of the birthday party.
Here are some pictures from Katie's graduation.
