We have purchased a place in the Rio Grande Valley and that is where we plan to spend the coldest part of our winters. We love it and have already made some great friends.

Retirement
This year I will retire from my job at Target. Ron has been waiting for a few years for me to make this decision. I plan to use this blog to remind myself of all the fun that the two of us have together. After 40+ years we still enjoy each others' company - most of the time :).I AM ready.

We are standing on the street just south of our house. In picture (l to r) are: Dolores Franta (her husband Dennis is at far right) The Franta's are from New Ulm, Minnesota. Mary B, Ron H, Marilyn W (a new acquaintence this year), Georgina H (and Andy the bichon puppy). A nice group of friendly neighbors and friends.
