Thursday was the day we chose to just be laid back and do whatever the spirit moved us to do. I took Joe and Anna to the Hair Receiver for hair cuts from my old school friend, Peggy Bunker. Fun to see my old friend and we are planning lunch together and a little hair color and style for me on August 18 at 11:30AM. When we came home Anna made her famous cookies to feed to her brothers, especially Will.

Thursday evening was movie night. We watched "Sister Act" and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We ate way too much popcorn and candy, but isn't that what are you supposed to do when you go to the movies?

Friday we headed to the Auquatic Center in Humboldt. It was a great time and included a couple of big slides, some high and low diving boards, very shallow and very deep water. Forgot the camera so no pictures from this outing. :-( After the time at the pool we stopped to visit Laura Seiler and also went to a park for a little fun on the playground equipment. Friday evening we headed to dinner at the Sports Page. A reward for all of the good behavior.
Saturday morning we got up early and went to Twin Lakes to meet our friends Peggy and Jim Nelson. They love taking the kids for a boat ride and it was very fun. Everyone seemed to love sitting up front and so we had to take turns. We stopped at a boat side restaurant and had ice cream cones. After the boat ride we went to the public park and waded in the lake for awhile. The last of our camp for the year.

When we got home Dan and D'Lynn were here and we turned the kids back over to their parents. Saturday night Dan and D'Lynn took us to dinner at Olde Boston. Great food, great service and best of all great company. After dinner we went to Crawford Park for a quick geocache adventure.
Sunday morning we went to Mass in Moorland and then out to breakfast before the Omaha Buck's went home. Looking forward to Camp Grandma 2010.
Thanks for a great Camp Grandma 2009, Mary and Ronnie. Dan and I are so lucky that our kids have grandparents like you!
