Mass at 10AM on Sunday morning followed by breakfast at Olde Boston. We both had the buffet. I always think I will get the omelet but I always stick with my cinnamon roll. After breakfast we picked up a quick cache at RF Memorial Park in Fort Dodge. Fun little nano. It was so easy that we thought we would grab another one on our way to Target and HyVee. Oh my goodness, I got into a patch of the stickiest weeds and they were all over my butt and my sweater. They did not come off easily and so I stayed out of the area while trying to pick them off of myself. Ronnie forged in and sure enough got a small cut on his finger and then got blood on the back of his shirt. We finally decided that it was not worth it today. In the end we had to come home and clean up his shirt, my pants and sweater. What a mess. Go ahead and picture the event. OUTRAGEOUS!! Once we were cleaned up we headed back to town to go to Target and HyVee for a weekly food run.

Last night we watched Big Brother. Things are getting tense there. Hoping Jeff can pull it off.

Today Ronnie is busy outside and I have been doing a little bookwork and made some banana muffins. Yummy.

It is certainly feeling and smelling and tasting and looking like fall. Thanks for the tomatoes Fran and Jim.

  1. Pretty picture...very bright with all the colors.
Sounds like a mess you got yourselves into with that cache! Who would hide it like that??

  2. We tried to use our GPS to look for a cache the other night but the GPS was too far off. We have now ordered a GPS like yours and then will try again. There is actually a Tour of Gladstone that has one micro cache in each of the parks around Gladstone. Each of those six give a part of the place of the final traditional cache.
