Crazy desire to get 1000 geocaches

We have been caching fools for the last month. Since we are getting so close to finding 1000 caches we find that we want to get a few caches everyday. So far we have picked up 62 this month and some have been very interesting.
We grabbed a book off of a shelf in a small town library, opened the front cover, and inside was a cache. We turned a rock over on a walking trail and inside of the rock was a bison tube. There was a wishing well in someone's yard and sure enough there was a mail box with a cache inside attached to the framework.
It has been great fun and the weather has been so beautiful after the long hot summer. One of the caches that we found was an artisan well "earth cache" which we found very interesting. We sat nearby at a picnic table and enjoyed a tasty picnic lunch. The fun just doesn't stop!!
Benson's Flowing Well earth cache. A steady stream of water 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

  1. I might add that our caching day in Wright county also yielded two first to finds in Humboldt on our way home. A new cacher (averageiowaguy), who lives in Humboldt, has been placing several new caches in our area.
