Lots of Memorial Day company and the arrival of the new baby

Last weekend we celebrated Memorial Day beginning on Friday night with Cindy, Craig, Katie and Izzie. They were here in time for some great Tom Thumb broasted chicken. I wonder why I don't loose weight.

Saturday brought Dan, D'Lynn, Joe, Sam, Will and sweet Anna. They arrived in time for lunch that was made up of sandwiches, chips and fresh vegetables. D'Lynn arrived with a chicken pasta salad(yummy) and some yummy Scotcharoos. Those were gone long before the weekend was complete. Fran and Jim came after lunch and brought my new baby girl. I named her "Hussy". She is beautiful and I plan on using her often. She is a Husqvarna sewing machine "SAPPHIRE 850". Let the quilting begin.

Saturday evening we spent some quality time together as a family. Mass at 4:15PM and then dinner a Ron and Dan doing a little playing and singing. Love having everyone around.

Sunday we took off for the cemeteries and put flowers on graves in St. Benedict, Wesley, Algona and Whittimore. We were able to stop and see Aunt Dorothy. She has deteriorated a lot since last summer. What a wonderful lady - she looks so like my sweet mother. We ended the day with pizza at Godfathers and Cindy and Craig heading home. We were able to get in a short game of dominoes at the end of the day.

Monday morning it was off to work at 4:30AM. Got home around 11AM and we went to the Moorland cemetery to put flowers there. Everyone left early in the afternoon.
We took a lot of cemetery pictures. I will have Ronnie add a few. Fran also emailed me a list of people that we leave flowers for and I added a few names.
Here it is for future reference.
