Project Day

Early morning visitors on this cloudy, rainy day.

It is the perfect day to pull out some projects and get to work.

I am working on hand quilting my Christmas quilt.

On the machine, I am putting together a quilt that I started at the quilt retreat last year. The tension on my machine was acting up and when I looked at it again I decided that I must tear everything out or I would never be satisfied. I have now started to put the blocks back together. I am about 1/2 done with the blocks and then I will begin to piece the quilt.

Ronnie is making a new padded top for my ironing board. Everybody gets a project.

The finished product. A tabletop ironing board
2 feet wide, 5 feet long

  1. I saw these ironing board tops in my quilting catalog for $134 plus the cover....I may need Ronnie to make one for me. Let me know how you like it.
