Last Friday Katie and Izzie came for an overnight with Grandma and Grandpa Buck. We had a great time. Friday on the way home we stopped for dinner at Wendy's and then off to the grocery store so Katie could get some push ups. She has come to love them and Izzie is finally getting figuring out how to eat one.

Saturday morning we headed to town to get a pretzel at Target.(another favorite activity) After we ate our pretzel we headed to Olson Park for a little playtime. We were very surprised when we arrived to see that they had a splash pad. Obviously, it has been a long time since we were there.

We had no swim suits but we did have some fun.



There was also play equipment and a petting zoo. Sadly, the petting zoo was not open and so we had to walk around the outside to see the animals.

Following a nap we headed back to Waukee for dinner at the Pizza Ranch. Sunday we went to the St Boniface picnic. What a great time. Lot's of fun things for everyone to do.
