Happiness

At the beginning of the year Cindy, D'Lynn and I decided that we would begin the happiness project.  We had planned to do things that make us feel good about ourselves and not be quite so picky about the way others acted.  After all it was about feeling good and not about perfection.

This past week I definitely found a big bunch of happiness.  I might have the best and most caring family in the world.  Not only did my children jump into their cars and travel home to spend a couple of days with me but their spouses were there to take care of everything so they could be here.  I am so happy and lucky.

After a long delayed visit to the heart doctor, I found that my heart was not beating the way it should be. My stress test was a total failure and the dye in the imagery test seemed to pool in one place.  Two days later I found myself in the cath lab having angioplasty.  It is a little scary to think that the doctor is going to put a wire into an artery and let it travel through your heart to make sure that you do not have a blockage somewhere.  I survived and found that there was no problem with my heart muscle and no blocked arteries.  It looks like it may be electrical and will be fixed with medication or a pace maker.

Here are a couple of added bonuses to bring up my happiness levels.
