Saturday morning and I have been working away on my first doll quilt. I finished the top and put it together with the bottom and the batting. I am ready to start quilting. It should seem like a breeze after working on the big one for so long.
Big News. I am getting my new sewing machine on Memorial Day weekend. Fran is bringing it from the quilt show that she went to. She bought one for each of us. We are lucky dogs. I think I will take my old one to Texas unless I can find someone who wants it.
It is darn cold here. My hands are like ice cubes. There is a chance for a frost tonight. We have put all potted flowers inside the potting shed and will go put Joyce and Dick's in their garage later. They left for Ankeny and forgot to do it.
I can hardly believe that it is Memorial Day weekend next week. I will be planning menus soon. :)

ReplyDeleteI would love to contribute to next weekend's menu. If it works into your menu, I would like to bring a chicken pasta salad (large and hearty) and a broccoli salad. If that doesn't work, please let me know where I can fill in some blanks. I do love to share new dishes with everyone and it is time to break out the summer recipies!!!
