Hello out there in blog world. I am cleaning and crafting and just enjoying my life.
The 4th of July was a buggy weekend even though the town sprayed two days prior. They sprayed again Wednesday night and things seem to be going a lot better. Ronnie was actually able to get outside and get a few jobs done without being eaten alive.
The Omaha Buck's and the Carlson's arrived on Saturday before lunch and everyone stayed until Monday. Not many outdoor activities because of the bugs but there was a little geocaching, some grilling and of course the parade on Monday morning. Thanks to all of them for coming. We do enjoy them all.

I am back to cleaning the basement. I have scrubbed all of the floors and walls except for the back corner. I rearranged my sewing room and have gone through all of the tubs and odds and end. Some things have gone to Good Will, some are put back and several are ready for a garage sale in the fall.

I also got the top of my Christmas quilt together and I am started on the hand quilting. I do love the leisure that I get from that particular job.
I am back off to finish the basement. I have a fun week coming up with a visit from Anna and Will and a Reynolds family reunion.

  1. I think your quilt is beautiful. I'll be excited to see it all quilted up - take a couple days off sometime and relax and quilt it. You crazy cleaning lady!
